Q: How does shipping work?
A: Once you place your order it will ship out within 1-2 business days (cut & bent reinforcing will usually ship in 3-5 days). For large orders that are delivered by truck, we will communicate with you to find a suitable time that someone is available to receive the delivery. The driver will also give you a call when they are on the way with your delivery.
Delivery rates will be shown at check-out (please note these delivery rates apply to addresses within 40km from Metro centres). If you have received an error message during check-out, please fill in our GET A QUOTE form for a custom delivery quote.
Q: Where are you located (why is your store's address not shown in Google?)
We don’t have a retail shop that you can walk into - we just have a bunch of warehouses doing the behind-the-scenes work. You can still collect your order - please see the next question.
Instead of employing sales staff, our lean business model allows us to to offer every-day low prices to the public.
We don't process any payments / orders at these locations. We previously shared the addresses of our pick-up locations at our website, but it led to a steady stream of visits from customers expecting a store with a trade desk. Now we keep it fully online (just like Dick Smith and Mighty Ape) - minus the queues. For customer who prefer pick-up, we can still assist you - the pick-up address of your closest warehouse will be shown on your draft invoice.
Can I pick my order up somewhere?
If you have a ute / van / truck / trailer and you'd like to collect, we can offer pick-up from the locations below.
All our pick-up orders are processed via Click & Collect and require payment in advance so the warehouse can prepare your order. You’ll be notified when it’s ready (usually within a few hours) and issued with a reference number for collection. Please do not go to the warehouse without your reference number - they will not have your order ready for pick-up.
If you prefer to pick-up your order, please fill in our GET A QUOTE form and we'll send you a draft invoice for payment via e-mail including the closest warehouse address.
Please note that your preferred item(s) might not always be available at your closest location - please check availability with our friendly team first if you intend to pick up.
Most of our products are heavy and bulky and often require forklifts, cranes or other lifting gear to load onto your vehicle / truck / trailer. We have witnessed many Customers arrive with uncertified vehicles, trailers that are too small, incorrect lifting and tie-down gear and also witnessed numerous safety incidents. Please ensure you have the correct size (certified) vehicle and tie down gear for your order to be safely loaded. If in doubt please reach out to our friendly team.




Q: Which payment options do you offer?
A: For most of our orders we will usually generate a draft invoice and e-mail it to you for payment via internet banking (this is the faster option). Please Contact Us to request a quote / draft invoice for payment via internet banking. We can also assist with credit card payments, but it takes 3-4 days for the funds to clear (we use Shop Payments as our credit card processor) and credit card payments will also incur a 2.5% processing fee. At this stage we don't operate on accounts or credit.
Q: I have issues with shipping rates at checkout, how can I get a delivery quote?
A: This usually means your address is located outside the areas that we normally deliver to. Please fill in our GET A QUOTE form to request a delivery quote and our friendly team will get back to you shortly.
