Trusus plasterboard was tested to the AS/NZS 2588:2018 certification standard in 2022 and has since been imported into New Zealand and used in many projects due to the shortage of locally manufactured Winstone GIB plasterboard.
Trusus has been listed on the MBIE Government's website as a recognised standard plasterboard substitute for "Minor Variations" (see Table 2 on page 8 on the NZ Government Building Performance Website) and has been successfully used by builders to pass Auckland Council inspections.
